  2. Diabetic retinopathy is a complication of diabetes mellitus in patients with type I and type II diabetes. This disease causes the blood vessels in your retina to swell in the initial phase, leading to the occlusion of the blood vessels. Initially, diabetic retinopathy shows no sign, but it leads to blurred vision as it progresses. I have suffered from diabetic retinopathy and searched about it through the free knowledge hub of the medical platform, SimpliHealth where top-reputed doctors share helpful information about health problems along with the treatment. I feel blessed that my eyes are safe; maybe I am young, so I haven't gone through significant issues, but Dr. Sahil Jain has provided me proper medications so that no problem occurs for me in the future. Dr. Sahil Jain is a consultant, vitreoretinal surgeon at Laser Eye Clinic, Chandigarh.
